My Review

I can’t believe how much I am loving The Undead series! Book after book, it never disappoints, and The Undead, Part 15 is no exception. The storyline keeps me on the edge of my seat, and I am always eager to dive right into the next installment. However, before moving on to book 16, I decided to give the spin-off a try. I highly recommend this series to anyone who is debating whether or not to listen to it. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed!

One of the reasons I am so hooked on this series is the flawless narration by Joe Jameson. After a bit of a rocky start with book 10, he has truly mastered each and every voice. His portrayal of the characters is so spot-on that I can recognize who is speaking even before they are identified in the story. Joe’s fantastic narration truly brings the characters to life, making it a truly enjoyable experience.

While I absolutely love this series, I have to mention a few things that left me feeling slightly confused. In past books, there was a big deal made about Meredith, Dave’s dog, and Howie putting Dave in charge of her. However, suddenly Nick is referred to as the person in charge of Meredith, and it left me wondering what happened to that storyline. It’s a minor thing, but it was slightly annoying.

Another point of confusion for me was regarding Marci turning Lani. Howie and the others had asked Marci to turn Lani to save her from her wounds. However, in this book, Howie acts as if he is freaked out when he “finds out” that Marci turned her. It felt like a sudden change in the storyline, and not something I would expect the author, RR Haywood, to forget. This was even more frustrating.

Despite these minor confusions, The Undead, Part 15 remains an excellent addition to the series. I can’t wait to continue listening and discover what happens next. The combination of the gripping storyline and Joe Jameson’s impeccable narration makes this one of the most entertaining audiobooks available. And the best part? You can get it for free!
